Between Two Breaths

I want to grieve a little bit,
Right now, with a melancholy like an woman.
Just to sit down brushed back
With painted lips and powder puff,
With an white lace napkin
As a pigeon on my hand,
Trying to take up the tear
Dimmed the eyes like an opal gem.
But such a life rushes on me at once,
So much concerns and troubles,
That I must push with elbows to defend myself,
To shout out so that I may not be buried deep,
To strike so that I may take a breath...
